The Lodge

Dangela boutique lodge has four lovely bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom and three of them have their own private balcony.  Next to the house is the delightful heated, salt water pool and all is surrounded by established gardens, rolling lawns, an orchard with a variety of fruit trees and there is even a rain and spring-fed pond.  The rear of the house opens on to a patio perfectly set up for barbeques, al fresco dining or for just relaxing and marvelling at the magnificent Puriri tree or gazing over the rural landscape.

The open-plan living area includes a comfortable lounge with Smart tv, a cosy reader’s corner, dining room with a square contemporary rimu wood dining table that seats eight and lends itself beautifully to a full dining experience, living room for casual dining and a full equipped kitchen that is an entertainer’s dream with everything you need, including an induction hob and Bosch appliances. There is also a barbeque outside to sizzle your sausages or grill that freshly caught fish.

The bed linen and towels in all rooms are of high quality to make you feel pampered and extra special.

Master bedroom

The spacious master bedroom on the first floor has a king sized bed, its own separate European style bathroom which has a bidet as well as toilet, double-headed shower and hand basin. There is also a balcony that is perfect for watching the sunrise and for soaking in the breath-taking view out across the countryside to the Mahurangi harbour, and the various offshore islands.  The start to the day has never been so inspiring!

Mediterranean room

This light-filled room with queen sized bed has the bonus that its bathroom has not only  a shower but a full-sized bath for you truly to relax away your aches, pains and troubles or prepare for that special day.  The private, intimate balcony is perfect for catching the sun's rays early in the day while sipping your early morning tea, mid-morning coffee or for reading your favourite book in the cool of the afternoon.

Blue room

Decorated in the English country cottage style this bedroom also has a large, separate walk-in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelves.  The queen sized mattress is a brand new, firm orthopaedic one for those who like to be well supported while they sleep.  The private, intimate balcony is perfect for catching the sun's rays early in the day.

Pool Room

This room is only available if the whole house is rented.  It is situated by the pool and has a trundle bed which means it has three set-up options: a king single for those who want their own space; a twin share set up of a king single with a standard single; a double bed for the fourth double bedroom option.

Prices:

Minimum stay – two nights for a bedroom, three nights for the whole house

Security deposit (for the whole house rental only) - $500 or 20% of rental whichever is the greater.
